What you'll do
If you take the ferry from Bodø, you can have some amazing stops on your way through Lofoten. This trip is perfect for both photography and just sightseeing.
Day 1
On the first day you get to see Lofoten from Å. The drive is really short, but the best way to start this trip is to take the ferry from Bodø. You can start the day from the ferry and have a stop by Steffenakken. This place is stunning, and there's a parking lot on the other side of the road if you want to have lunch here. The next stop is Reine. This is a really cute place that is lovely to explore. The last stop of the day is the hike Reinebringen. I do recommend going there during summer and midnight sun. It'll be less people and you'll enjoy a beautiful sun that never sets. We went on this hike at 11 pm.

Good place for photos
Not far from Moskenes ferry pier when driving towards Reine there is a parking spot called Steffenakken. This is, (like most of Lofoten) a great spot for both drone, and traditional photography. You could also park here and hike up to Reinebringen which lies between Steffenakken parking and Reine.

Fun town
Reine is a fishing village that will serve you as a great starting base for exploring Lofoten. It’s as beautiful in winter as in summertime. There are plenty of activities available like kayaking, boating, photo trips longer hikes

Short hike
Reinebringen is a relatively short hike, but with plentiful views to offer. The hike is a 2km roundtrip and ends at 448 m.a s.l. Reinebringen may not be the tallest mountain in the region, but the view is indescribable. Ascending 448 meters up in only 1 km makes this path pretty steep, but there are manmade steps almost all the way to the top. At summertime it can get pretty crowded up there, so I would recommend rising early, or very late. We went there at around midnight and encountered 5 people in total. Once again, the midnight sun beautified the whole climb.
There is also a path that leads even higher after arriving at Reinebringen to get an even better outlook, but this section is steeper, more dangerous and not recommended for children.
