🇬🇧 The volcano El Cuervo was the one that started the great eruption of Timanfaya in 1730, the eruption that changed the nature of the island creating the lunar landscape we can see today.

With a very simple 20-minute walk through the "lava desert" it's possible to reach the crater for a truly suggestive experience, not every day you get to be able to enter the mouth of a volcano!

Once you reach it, you'll be pleased to discover that the volcano is much larger than it seems from afar and you'll see also the thousand colors within its walls.

NB. I get burned every time I go here so bring a hat and put on sunscreen!

🇮🇹 Il vulcano El Cuervo è il primo che eruttò dando inizio alla grande eruzione del Timanfaya nel 1730, quella che cambiò la natura dell'isola creando il paesaggio lunare che possiamo vedere oggi.

Con una semplicissima passeggiata di 20 minuti attraverso il "deserto lavico" è possibile raggiungere il cratere per un'esperienza davvero suggestiva, non capita tutti i giorni di poter entrare nella bocca di un vulcano!

Una volta raggiunto, scoprirete che il vulcano è molto più grande di quanto sembri da lontano e vedrete anche i mille colori all'interno del suo cratere.

NB. io ogni volta che vado qui mi brucio quindi portatevi un cappellino e mettete la crema solare!
