Co będziesz robić

A slow drive south down Queensland's most photogenic stretch of beach. Headland sunsets, river-mouth swims, and the kind of calm-water mornings that drone footage was made for. Best base: rotating bookings — Noosa for nights 1–2, Mooloolaba for night 3.

Day 1

You'll start at the most famous postcard on this coast. Noosa Heads is where Queensland tourism begins, with its protected coves, walkable national park headland, and the kind of village strip where you can wander between coffee, bookshops, and beach in three blocks. Spend the morning on the Hastings Street stretch and the afternoon walking the Coastal Track inside Noosa National Park — Tea Tree Bay, Granite Bay, and Hells Gates are the iconic stops along it. Drive 15 minutes south late in the day to Coolum Beach for sunset and dinner. The Mt Coolum hike (just inland) is a 30-minute up-and-back if you want one more drone shot before dark.

Day 2

A river-and-canal day. Drop into Cotton Tree first — a tucked-away neighborhood at the mouth of the Maroochy River where the water is calm enough to SUP and the foreshore parks fill with locals on weekends. From there it's a 15-minute drive south to Mooloolaba, the loudest of the Sunshine Coast beach towns and the one most worth giving a half-day to. Walk the Esplanade, swim the patrolled main beach, and end the day with the headland walk around Point Cartwright. Stay in Mooloolaba tonight — closer to tomorrow's spots.

Day 3

Today is the southern Sunshine Coast trio, all within 10 minutes of each other. Currimundi lake is the morning swim — a shallow lake-meets-ocean estuary that's safe for kids and gorgeous from the air. Moffat Beach is the surf headland just south, with the best fish and chips on this stretch and a clifftop walk that opens up to Caloundra. Caloundra itself is bigger and more developed but worth the afternoon for Kings Beach and Bulcock Beach Esplanade. Stay around Caloundra tonight to set up tomorrow's ferry to Bribie.

Day 4

Cross the bridge to Bribie Island for a quieter, wilder finale to the trip. Bribie's western side faces the calm waters of Pumicestone Passage with white-sand banks and dolphin sightings; the eastern beach is open ocean and 4WD-accessible. Spend the morning on the passage side, the afternoon on the surf beach if you have a 4WD, otherwise the patrolled Woorim Beach is fine. Late afternoon drive back to the mainland — you're 60 minutes north of Brisbane Airport from here.
