Unstad Beach is arguably Lofoten's most famous and well-known surf spot. It caters to more of the advanced surfer, and the waves here can get legitimately big—pros even travel from all over the world for the chance to surf the Arctic!

If you're a competent surfer looking for waves, this is going to be your spot. That said, even if you aren't a longtime surfer, and are just looking for some solitude, the views from Unstand are reason enough to make the short detour off the main highway, and enjoy this Norwegian surf spot.
