Brinkhall Manor is a hidden gem just 17 km from Turku city centre, the perfect little detour for a day trip. The manor is famous for its beautifully preserved 1920s interiors and for being a filming location for several Finnish dramas.

The charming yellow buildings are incredibly photogenic, and the English-style garden is perfect for a slow stroll, you can linger by the fountains, peek into the flowerbeds, or snap photos of the manor from multiple angles. I love visiting early in the morning when the light hits the garden just right and the place feels completely peaceful.

During summer (June–August), there’s a cozy summer café serving coffee, cold drinks, pastries, and ice cream — ideal for a sweet break after exploring the gardens.

HOW TO GET THERE: Brinkhall Manor is about a 20-minute drive from Turku. Public transport is possible via busses 25 and 25A from the city centre, but driving is easier. Parking is limited, so coming early is best.
