Arnisee is a gorgeous alpine lake in Central Switzerland, perfect for a family picnic with mountain views and wildflower fields ringing with cow bells. Home to new Via Ferrata climbing course suitable for ages 10+ and families, there are charming cable cars out of Amsteg and Intschi bringing guests up to the lakeside. With an easy stroll around the lake and longer hike options up the mountainside, Arnisee provides plenty of fresh air and stunning Swiss alps scenery for all visitors.

How to get there:

There are two cable car take you up the mountain. One is Amsteg Cable car and the other is Intschi cable car.

The lake is closer to the Intschi cable car but only 900 meters away from the Amsteg. So either approach works great. The walk around the lake is super easy and short. There are restaurants picnic areas by the lake and WC too. The walk around the lake is only 1 km long with almost zero elevation gain.

It is possible to visit the lake in winter too.
