Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park is an amazing, unspoiled wilderness area full of breathtaking lakes, glaciers, landscapes and a sky-scraping peak that has been awe-inspiring visitors for centuries. Without roads, trails are the only way to access the park—which is ideal for camping, fishing, horseback riding, hiking, and skiing/ski touring. The park’s Magog Lake and Og Lake campgrounds are popular destinations for camping and have added amenities such as cooking areas, water taps, and tent pads. Naiset Cabins, O’Brien Meadows Group Campground, and other first come, first served cabins are available throughout the park as well. Despite its popularity, Mount Assiniboine remains a stunningly pristine landscape, giving visitors an unbeatable sense of adventure a peace of mind.
