The Church of St. James in Ljubljana, Slovenia, is a beautiful Baroque-style church dedicated to St. James the Greater. Built in the early 17th century on the site of an older Gothic church, it features stunning interior design by Italian architect Francesco Robba. The church underwent renovations after the Ljubljana earthquake of 1895 but has retained much of its original Baroque charm. Outside, you'll find a column commemorating a Habsburg victory against the Ottoman Turks. Opposite the church is Gruber Mansion, home to the Slovenian National Archives.
