The Dunham River Rest Area is a great spot for a quick stopover, located on a large gravel area with plenty of shady trees.

With public toilets (including a dump point for campers), undercover picnic tables and wood fired barbecues, this 24-hour rest area is great and free spot to spend the night if you want to head to Kununurra, Lake Argyle Purnululu or before starting the Gibb.
