Tombstone Territorial Park, located in the Yukon Territory of Canada, is a stunning wilderness area known for its rugged mountains, pristine lakes, and diverse wildlife. Visitors can explore hiking trails that wind through alpine meadows, marvel at towering peaks like Mount Monolith, and maybe even catch a glimpse of a grizzly bear or caribou. With its breathtaking scenery and sense of adventure, Tombstone Territorial Park is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
This area is super remote and often called the "Patagonia of the North." It would make for a super adventurous + private elopement, especially venturing out into the backcountry.
There are some shorter day hikes, such as Goldensides Mountain, but the main attraction is a 3-5 day backcountry trail that takes you to 3 different lakes (but this must be reserved in advance). There are also plenty of roadside stops, such as the Tombstone Range Viewpoint, if you don't feel like hiking.
If you're down for the adventure, definitely consider this spot as a destination and I'd be happy to help you work out the details.
