Watching the sunset from the top of Morans Fall is easily one of my all time favourite things to do. I think it's one of the most magical views and an absolute must visit in the Gold Coast. Trust me when I say that you'll want to visit this viewpoint at sunset! The view is breathtaking and the sunset colours compliment the waterfall and distant mountain ranges so well. Be sure to keep hanging around once the sun goes down as that is often when the colours really explode and the whole landscape will catch the soft pink and orange colours.

There's a short 15-20 minute walk directly from O'Reilly's Resort to the top of Morans Falls. The start of the track is marked on the map as 'route to Morans Falls' which is near the infinity pool at O'Reillys Spa. There's no fencing at this waterfall so make sure you watch your step when close to the edge.
