Skåne, the southernmost part of Sweden, is full of special hidden gems. While it is largely unexplored by travellers outside of Scandinavia, I'm convinced it is just a matter of time before this region becomes a well-known travel destination. From the pristine beaches to the picturesque hiking trails, and a world-class Nordic culinary scene and sustainable food culture, there seems to be never-ending things to do in Skåne. I've spent the last three years deeply exploring this area of the country, and this 6 day, 5 night guide will provide you everything you need to know to explore Skåne by car. NOTE: Many of the places in this itinerary are seasonal, for check opening hours ahead of planning your trip.

Your trip starts in Malmö where you'll pick up your rental car (unless you have your own, of course). From there you will be heading up the western coast to Helsingborg, which will be your home base for the next two nights of your trip. Along the way to Helsingborg, I've included some options to stop at including a historic windmill, a castle, and a beautiful hiking trail. Then you'll settle into your Helsingborg hotel and have some time to explore the city.
