Venice can be a maze — charming, yes, but not always easy to navigate. These apps are truly useful and tested by locals (and pros like me):

🚤 CheBateo?
Best app for vaporetto schedules. Simple, reliable, and focused on ACTV routes. Shows real-time arrivals and platform info.
Language: Italian only, but easy to understand.

📍 Google Maps + My Maps
Still the best combo for walking and saving your own locations. My curated Google My Map includes quiet corners, photo spots, and favorites — available via my travel guide.
Note: GPS can drift in narrow alleys, but it's still helpful.

🎟️ Venezia Unica
Official app for buying ACTV passes and museum entries. Good for avoiding long queues. Not the prettiest interface, but works.

🌐 Bonus: Download Google Translate offline for quick help with menus or local signs — even if most Venetians speak some English, it helps a lot in hidden spots.
