Bled Island is a picturesque tear-shaped isle in the middle of Lake Bled, Slovenia. It's like something out of a fairy tale with its charming setting and iconic Pilgrimage Church of the Assumption of Mary.

Visitors can reach the island by taking a Pletna boat ride or renting a rowboat. Most tours will grant you at least 1 h on the island which is more than enough because it is quite small. Once there, they can explore the church, ring the wishing bell, grab a snack at the cafe, and soak in the stunning views.
