Vintgar Gorge in Slovenia is a stunning 1.6 km long gorge carved by the Radovna River, with picturesque boardwalks that crisscross over the emerald green waters.

I dare to say it is one of the most beautiful places in Slovenia, but it can get very crowded during the high season (especially July and August). I recommend coming early to avoid the crowds or waiting until the late hours of the afternoon.

The path is easy to follow and it is only one way. Once you get to the end, there is a beautiful waterfall and an incredible view of the valley ahead. See more detailed info on the guide attached.
