It is also known as Jones Lake. It is located in Hope, BC and is one of the most beautiful alpine lakes that is accessible by vehicle (in our opinion). However, as it’s a popular place for campers and is not a regulated park, there can sometimes be a lot of trash here which is sad. We suggest going in the Spring or Fall time, when there’s less people and snow on the peaks! There are two places to camp, at the campground on the right side of the lake, or on the beach on the left side of the lake (pictured). No pre-booking required.

The road up to the lake is decently maintained, but once you’re past the campground, be prepared as the road is bumpy! SUV or 4x4 preferred.
