Stracta Hotel is a family-owned hotel on Iceland’s stunning South Coast, just about an hour’s drive from Reykjavík and within easy reach of many of the country’s most spectacular natural wonders.
On the ground floor, guests can enjoy our Bistro & Bar, offering a delicious menu and cozy atmosphere. The second floor hosts our breakfast buffet (included for all guests) and our group dinner buffet, served with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, including Eyjafjallajökull and Hekla volcano.
Stracta Hotel also features a gift shop, a fully equipped gym, and a unique Northern Lights Corridor where guests can watch the aurora borealis from inside on cold nights. Outdoors, our saunas and hot tubs in the hotel garden offer a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. We also provide Northern Lights wake-up calls during aurora season.
