Red Bridge Campground is a great freedom camping spot just outside Wanaka. The huge campground offers plenty of space, making it perfect for campervans and groups.

It’s an ideal base for visiting the town or hiking Roy’s Peak. The toilets are smelly but well-maintained and clean. The area is scenic, with lovely flowers lining the path between the car park and the road, adding charm to this practical stop.
