Ponta de São Lourenço is a raw, windswept coastal walk with lunar-looking cliffs and big ocean views, so plan for the conditions rather than luxuries. Stick to the marked trail, wear sturdy shoes, bring plenty of water, sun protection and a windproof layer, and leave early if you want parking or quieter photos. There are no real services or much shade on the peninsula, the path is rocky in places and close to sheer drops, and the payoff is dramatic scenery and good wildlife spotting if you keep your distance and follow the signs.
