From Campbell River, Highway 28 winds its way through the forest to Upper Campbell Lake. It passes a number of smaller lakes, some with informal viewpoints. Driving along Upper Campbell, there are some peek through views through the trees as well as some other lakeside viewpoints.

Although Highway 28 sees regular traffic, it’s not a super busy road. Before hitting the road, be sure to check DriveBC for any closures or construction updates.
