Message from Ragga Ragnars

Hvítserkur, also known as the Troll of Northwest Iceland, is a 15-meter tall basalt rock stack jutting out from Húnaflói Bay. It's a popular spot for birdwatching, with seagulls, shags, and fulmars making it their home. Legend has it that Hvítserkur was once a troll turned to stone by the sun while trying to tear down bells from a convent. Whether you're into folklore or just want some epic photos, this unique rock formation is definitely worth a visit on your Icelandic adventure!
