Bahnhof Basel SBB is the main train station in Basel city. It's a hub for trains arriving from France (TGV from Paris) and Germany. It has convenient connections to many Swiss destinations including Bern, Interlaken, Lucerne, Geneva, and Zurich.
The train station is about a 15 min walk and 10 min tram ride from the old town district. There is a large parking lot at the station.
