This small playground next to Alp Catrina mountain restaurant has swings, slide, playhouse, small marble run and spectacular views. This is a quiet locals-only place, frequented by families that live in the region or have holiday homes on this alp.

Open: usually June to October • check cable car schedule (every 30 mins, closes over lunch)

How to get there

The playground is a 75 min walk uphill from top of Attinghausen-Brüsti cable car.

By public transport: Take a train to Altdorf, then Bus 403 to Attinghausen, Seilbahn, which drops directly at the first section of Brüsti cable car station (Ballweg). You ride to the middle station (Kohlplatz). Then transfer another cable car for the rest of the way to Brüsti.

By car: Drive to Attinghausen, then drive up the mountain to the middle station of the cable car (Kohlplatz) - see on map. There is metered parking next to the cable car. Make sure not to park outside the designated parking zones. And remember to pay via the apps (EasyPark, ParkingPay, Twint) or meter.
