The Jim Thompson House Museum is an exquisite, must-see destination for any visitor to Bangkok. Located in central Bangkok, the museum contains the awe-inspiring Southeast Asian art collection of the former American businessman and architect, Jim Thompson. It spans an immense one rectangular rai of land and houses structures of traditional Thai-style buildings - mostly constructed with wood. The collection ranges from Buddhist statues to white porcelain crafted in China centuries ago, as well as pieces that were collected from all around Thailand in the 1950s and 60s.
