During those 5 days, you will see some of Graubündens's most beautiful spots and experience why Graubünden is one of Switzerland's most popular regions for Tourists, while not showing the usual touristy places. The trip is also designed for the conscious travelers out there since it is designed so that you can reach every place by public transportation and thus travel more sustainably and minimize the impact you will have on our planet. On the last day, you will also get to see and feel why it is important to think sustainable.

Firstly, thanks for purchasing this trip and thus supporting our work. Over the last few years, we have traveled to a lot of places in Switzerland and here we show you one of the tours we would recommend most to any person when visiting Switzerland. On this first day, you will visit two lakes and the Swiss Grand Canyon. The idea is to walk from Flims Waldhaus to the lake Cresta with a stop at the panorama platform il Spir. To Flims Waldhaus you can either take the car, which you can park there, or take the bus since there is a bus stop there. Then you will start to walk down to the lake Cauma. Depending on the season you might be able to take the cable car for free down to the lake. We recommend to take a tour around the lake and walking with the lake on your left-hand side. After having passed the lake you will walk through a dense and beautiful forest that ends at the edge of the Swiss Grand Canyon. The way to the viewing platform il Spir is signalized very well. Be aware that you shouldn’t be afraid of heights when ascending the viewing platform. If you are brave enough you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view over the canyon and even see the Swiss Horse Shoe bend. The yellow hiking signs will lead you to the Cresta lake, where we recommend to again walk around it. You will get to see the smallest Swiss island with a tree and also great views of the Flimserstein. Just a few hundred meters more to hike and you will reach the bus stop that either brings you to your accommodation or your car. We recommend you book a room in one of the many hotels in Flims.
