Mirador Las Torres Base is the most iconic viewpoint in Torres del Paine, reached by a challenging full-day hike that begins near Hotel Las Torres at the eastern side of the park. The trail is about 18 km round trip with an elevation gain of roughly 900 meters, taking 7–9 hours depending on pace. The route passes through beautiful forests, crosses rivers, and climbs steep moraine before the final push up a rocky slope. At the top, hikers are rewarded with a breathtaking view of the three granite towers rising vertically above a turquoise glacial lagoon—a truly unforgettable sight and the park’s signature image.
