Wat Pa Phu Kon is a magnificent Buddhist temple located in Udon Thani, Thailand. Opened in 2013 and established at the cost of 320 million Thai baht, it serves as a place of pilgrimage for adherents of the Buddhist faith. The complex is anchored by the Great Wihan, a600-foot long assembly hall, one of the most iconic features of which is a 65 foot long marble reclining Buddha. Together with a 25 meter high golden stupa, Wat Pa Phu Kon is an inspirational tourist destination and beautiful example of modern Thai architecture.
