🚗 Parking lot at Bachkovo Monastery – 27 km from Plovdiv

🥾 The trail starts right opposite the monastery. You walk along a wide and well-trodden path in the shade of a forest. The route is easy, with gentle climbs and descents. After about 10 minutes you reach a wide meadow with gazebos and the waterfall itself (10–12 m high).

🧒 Suitable for children: ✅ Yes, the route is easy and pleasant, entirely in the forest. Be careful around the waterfall, it is steep and unprotected.

💡 Tip: Visit the waterfall in the spring, when it is full of water. In the summer it often dries up. If you feel like continuing, you can climb to the Long Meadow, Ayazmoto and the Chapel "St. Archangel Michael".
