📍 Belasitsa Mountain, starting point: Belasitsa Hut

🚗 The hut is accessible by car (9 km from the town of Petrich). Parking is available directly in front of the hut.

🥾 The trail begins to the left of the hut and follows a wide forest path with a gentle incline. It winds through an ancient beech forest, crossing wooden bridges and small streams. The route is marked and well-maintained. Just before reaching the waterfall, there is a steep descent – be cautious.

🕒 Around 40 minutes one way

💧 No drinking fountains along the route – bring water.

🧒 Child-friendly: ✅ Yes, but the final descent to the waterfall is steep, so it may not be suitable for very young children.

💡 Tip: Spring is the best time to visit – the waterfall is at its most powerful. Autumn is also magical, with colorful foliage and chestnuts everywhere 🍂.
