📍 Eastern Rila, above the Dolna Banya villa area - Sveti Spas village

🚗 The villa area can be reached by car (~1 hour from Sofia). Park at the end of it - at the widening and a sign with a map.

🥾 Initially, you walk along a wide dirt road along the Bistritsa River, after about 30–40 minutes there is a fork - you can continue on the road or take a shorter forest trail with yellow markings. The trail is steeper and shorter as the road circles around.

🕒 About 1 hour and 20 minutes in the direction

💧 There is no fountain on the route - bring your own water; there is one in the hut

🧒 Suitable for children: ✅ Yes - the route is smooth and shady, with places to rest and picnic, but it is suitable for older children.
