🥾 The route starts from the end of the Belmeken Dam, where there is a convenient parking space - you will recognize it by the large path that starts to the right of the dam wall. You walk along a flat dirt road, which gradually turns into a path and enters low squats. This is followed by a moderate climb through open terrain with rocky sections and a nice view of the Belmeken Dam. Follow the red markings.

🕒 About 2 hours and 15 minutes in the direction of the dam

💧 There is no fountain on the trail - bring your own water (there is one at the hut)

💡 Tip: The hut is located in the wild and open Rila plateau. It is lively in the summer, but the rest of the time it is almost deserted - check in advance if there is a hut owner. Excellent base for the peaks of Belmeken, Ibar, Ravni Chal, Sivrichal.
