🧭 Rila Monastery was founded by Saint Ivan of Rila in the 10th century and is the largest monastery in Bulgaria, as well as one of the most important Orthodox monasteries in the world. In 1983, the monastery was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

💡Tip: Visit the monastery museum and see the unique frescoes and icons. There are many attractions nearby to visit.
