Solo travellers often tend to prioritise cities over the countryside when travelling. But a solo visit to the Cotswolds is a great way to explore the English countryside on your own terms.

I have visited the Cotswolds alone many times now, and I’ve always had a brilliant time. The locals and tourists are friendly and there are plenty of things to do in the Cotswolds to keep you busy.

Plus, it's the perfect place to embrace a slower pace of life and do a bit of a digital detox. So take a good book and some walking shoes, and you'll be just fine!
