Hike Description: 

Take a funicular (mountain train) from Zermatt to Sunnegga and follow the easy footpath to Stellisee. I would also recommend stopping in at Fluhalp (mountain hut) and Grindjisee (lake) on the way.

Wild Camping: 

Wild camping is forbidden in Zermatt but still many people do it. The best option for catching the sunrise/sunset at Stellisee would be to stay in Fluhalp.
