What to expect:

A place that truly makes you feel the force of nature. It’s loud, misty, and incredibly impressive up close.

There are multiple viewpoints, platforms, and even a panoramic trail where you can get right next to the falls. Perfect for a family stop and just soaking in the view. And yes… you will get a little wet if you go close enough 😄

How to get here:

Park at the visitor parking near Schloss Laufen. From there it’s an easy walk down to the viewpoints and platforms.

About 40 minutes from Zurich by car.

With public transport:
Take the train to Neuhausen Rheinfall or Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall. Both stations are just a short walk to the falls.

Entrance-Fee:

CHF 5 adults / CHF 3 kids (6–15)

The paid side includes the best panoramic platforms + the walkway right next to the falls (worth it if you want the full experience).

Note:
You can still see the falls without paying, but the paid side gets you way closer. So I would say its worth the money.
