Yanerbie, is a small town south of Streaky Bay with beautiful sand dunes that we recommend visiting for fun. At times its been known as a free camp but the local council wouldn't recognise this however we have seen campers sleep here many times. Our favourite thing to do is explore the dunes at dusk and listen to the ocean in the distance.

It takes a little while to drive in from the main road and the track is bumpy but totally fine for a 2WD car. You can drive on hard ground all the way up to the dunes making it great for photos.
