An old town with new age charms, this spot has become one of the go-to relaxation 'escape from reality' towns in China.
About Dali Old Town
Dali Old Town, nestled between Erhai Lake and the Cangshan Mountains, is a charming ancient city with a history dating back 1,200 years.
The town's cobbled streets make for a relaxing place to amble while having the mountains in the background is definitely a winner view-wise.
The town is known as a bit of a 'retreat' paradise - with China's tech workers regularly taking time out to go and get out of the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities.
Looing for sothing to do? Why not rent a bike and cycle along the banks of erhai lake.
