Message from Kieran - Exploring Scotland

The Garden of Cosmic Speculation is a unique 30-acre sculpture garden in Scotland created by landscape architect Charles Jencks and his wife, Maggie Keswick Jencks. Inspired by science and mathematics, the garden features sculptures and landscaping based on themes like black holes and fractals. It's not your typical flower-filled garden but rather a blend of natural features and artificial designs that showcase mathematical formulas and scientific phenomena. The garden opens to the public for only a few hours each year, drawing comparisons to abstract gardens like Little Sparta. Plus, it even inspired an orchestral composition and has been featured in literature, making it a pretty cool spot for both art and science enthusiasts alike.
