The Carron Valley Reservoir and Meikle Bin hike is a 9.7-mile out-and-back trail near Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, Scotland. It's a bit of a mixed bag - starting off with a chill stroll through the forest by the reservoir, then kicking it up a notch with a steep climb to the summit of Meikle Bin for some killer views. Just watch out for the muddy and slippery bits on the way down, especially if it's been raining. And don't forget your sturdy boots and walking poles! Overall, it's a solid hike with a bit of everything - forest, hills, and stunning vistas.
