Wānaka is home to this very famous and photogenic tree. Depending on the time of the day or year, it always looks different. Photographers, get there early in the morning or at sunset for the prettiest picture! This tree is right by the beach, around 5 minutes from the heart of the city by foot. There's also a parking lot right next to it. I recommend going for a nice walk or jog along the lake to see the tree and to enjoy stunning views of the lake and the city.
