Barmsee is a peaceful and picturesque lake nestled at the edge of the Bavarian Alps. A circular trail leads around the lake, taking about 2–3 hours to complete (approx. 9 km and 110 m elevation gain). Along the way, you'll enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountain ranges, with the path winding through moorland and forest landscapes.

Parking is available at Hotel Barmsee for €5 per day. A helpful tip: the ticket is valid throughout the entire Krün municipality, not just at this specific lot. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant—perfect for a meal or snack before or after your walk.
