Haukadalskirkja dating back to 1842-43 and rebuilt in 1939. It sits on the same spot as a church from at least 1121 and is dedicated to God, Virgin Mary, St. Andrew, Bishop Marteinn, and St. Barbara. Unfortunately, it's usually locked due to vandalism, so peeping through the windows might be the only way to catch a glimpse of its historical charm.
