Juniper Campground is the largest campground in Mount Diablo State Park, offering stunning views of Diablo Valley and the Bay Area. Situated at 3,000 feet, this campground has sites with both shade and big vistas. Some sites have traditional Diablo grills, while others have campfire pits. The Juniper Trail, part of the Great Loop, passes by for easy access to hiking. Dogs are allowed on a leash but not on nearby trails.
