2 days to explore anime spots in Tokyo including locations from Your Name, Weathering With You, Noragami, and top places to shop for anime & manga merch!
I haven’t personally followed this exact route, but I created it for travelers looking for a fun and memorable experience around anime. I designed it just like I would for myself: balanced, smooth, and not too rushed , using everything I know from living in Japan and exploring Tokyo's anime scene.

Impressive sustainable skyscraper in Tokyo
NTT Docomo Yoyogi Building (NTTドコモ代々木ビル) is a 240-meter skyscraper in Shibuya, Tokyo, completed in 2000. Its design, reminiscent of the Empire State Building, features a 15-meter clock installed in 2002, making it one of the tallest clock towers globally.
This iconic structure appears in multiple Makoto Shinkai films, including Your Name, Weathering with You, and Suzume. In Your Name, it's notably visible from the pedestrian bridge near Shinanomachi Station, capturing the Tokyo skyline's essence

Cozy Italian eatery with unique flair
Café La Bohème (カフェ ラ・ボエム) in Shinjuku-Gyoen is the real-life inspiration for the restaurant where Taki and Okudera-senpai work in Your Name. In the film, it's depicted as "Il Giardino delle Parole"—Italian for "The Garden of Words," referencing another of director Makoto Shinkai's works.
Date location from Your Name, you can take a snack or tea, or just pass by.

Salon de Té Rond (サロン・ド・テ ロンド)

Salon de Thé Rond (サロン・ド・テ ロンド) is a café located inside the National Art Center in Roppongi, Tokyo. Perched atop a large cone structure, it offers panoramic views and elegant desserts.
It became famous among anime fans after appearing in Your Name (君の名は), where Taki goes on a date with Okudera-senpai. The scene closely mirrors the café’s real atmosphere and design.
No museum ticket is needed to visit the café, which is open from 11:00 to 18:00 (closed Tuesdays). A perfect stop for both art lovers and anime fans.
