Located in the village of Kirkjubæjarklaustur, you'll find this little guesthouse a great budget stop on your South Coast adventure. The rooms are simple, but comfortable enough, and it's also pretty affordable.

It's located close to the beautiful Systrafoss waterfall - you can even take a short hike up to the lake at the top. It's the perfect spot between Vik and Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and is the ideal basecamp for exploring nearby glaciers, waterfalls, and Vatnajokull National Park.

To be completely honest, the breakfast was very basic, though!
