Flat Rocks Beach in South Greenough is the perfect little gem to stop at when you're doing the long drive between Geraldton and Perth, especially if you’ve got a 4WD. It’s one of those places you stumble upon and just know you’ve found a bit of peace away from the chaos.

If you have a 2WD, it's super chill to just hang in the carpark, but if you have a 4WD - we cruised along the sand dunes and found a spot to camp with the most stunning views of the water – seriously, the sunset here was next-level!

The vibe is pretty chilled, and if you're keen, you can follow the dunes up and over to the coast, creating an epic outlook for your camping spot.
