A quiet alpine lake surrounded by forest, perfect for a swim, picnic, or just relaxing. In autumn the leaves turn golden, making it one of the most beautiful spots in the valley.

How to get there:

• From St. Moritz – 1.6–2.5 km / 20min from the lake - 40min from the station - walk on an easy path.

• From Pontresina – ~4 km / ~1 hour walk through the forest.

Good to know:

• Water is fresh, about 15–20°C in summer.

• Accessible all year, but swimming is best from June to September.

• Combine with a walk along Lake St. Moritz or a visit to Pontresina for coffee or lunch.
