Very easy family friendly hike near Marion NC. The falls are stunning, especially after a rain.

The hike roundtrip is only .7 miles so very doable with little kids. A total of about 10 cars can fit at the parking lot, but even if it's busy the turnover is quick since it's such a short hike.

There's supposedly a small swimming hole at the top of the falls. I have yet to check it out, but could be some fun exploration. I wouldn't recommend bringing kids to the top for safety reasons.
