One of my favorite road trips in Venezuela where you will find diverse escenarios that will blow your mind.
I suggest you to do this trip with Soco Adventures because they will take care of everything, not only accommodation, food and driver but also dealing with the cups in the police controls, negotiating with the boat captains and many more small details that will make your tour smooth and 100% enjoyable.
Day 1
Departure is from Caracas, you will drive 3-4 hours until you reach Morrocoy National Park. but before i you entering in Falcón state, specifically in Boca De Aroa get your camera ready because you're about to see a ton of palm trees side by side. this path is called happiness road because you're ojust about to reach Tucacas, one of the main towns where can take a boat to visit the beaches of Morrocoy.
Depending on your budget you can choose if staying in Tucacas I would suggest "La Esmeralda" a all inclusive lodge with port to the sea, or going to Chichiriviche a smaller town where you can also stay in a fancy hotel called "Isla Linda" or a small lodge called "La Aldea Chichiriviche"
If you depart early from Caracas this day you could go to one of the beaches I suggest In the post until sunset.
Parque Nacional Morrocoy.
Passeio turístico
One of the most beautiful beaches of the country just 3 hours away from the capital.
Morrocoy National Park is PARADISE. Actually I would say that is the BEST beach when we compare quality/prices. Of course there are better beaches like Los Roques or La Tortuga Island but this one for it's price is sincerely the best, specially if you go during the week when you will have it practically for yourself.
Morrocoy is located in Falcon state of Venezuela and it's just 3-4 hours away from Caracas, in your way you will pass by "La Recta de la Felicidad" that is basically a road full of palm trees side by side for about 3 kilometers, honestly is breathtaking.
There are two main towns where you can take the boat to head the beautiful beaches of the national park, the first one is Tucacas a little bit more expensive but closer from the capital and with more options of hotels, airbnbs, lodges and boats to the beach, and the second one Chichiriviche like 45 minutes from the first one but cheapper in every sense. hotels and restaurants are cheap as well as transportation to the beaches.
Wherever you decide to go I suggest you to visit this beaches.
