Gateway to the most extensive highlands in Northern-Europe The Wilderness Center is an authentic and peaceful hideaway, located right by the edge of Northern Europe’s biggest wilderness. Our guests experience the spirit of the past through a variety of services, such as: unique accommodation, local food, exhibitions, horse riding and hiking, day tours, escorted tours and tailor made tours.
Included in the stay is access to the authentic bathhouse/spa, with hot-spring, sauna and relaxation area. A reservation for dinner service is required before 16:00 of check-in date.

You will sleep in one of the most remote areas in Iceland and there's an exhibition about life in and near the highlands of Iceland. And don't forget to try some local food!
